So we celebrated our one year anniversary this past monday. I cannot believe how fast time flies! We still feel just like newlyweds, it's just crazy to think that technically we're not anymore. This past year has been so great and of course im so excited for all the treasures the coming years will bring.
For our anniversary, we decided that we weren't going to do anything major because we wanted to save up our money for when we go home for the sealing/my birthday(and plus, we just bought wii fit as an early anniversary present for ourselves). Because Chase LOVES to outdo me, he surprised me with...
I don't know why i haven't learned yet, it's not like he hasn't done that for every big occasion for the past, what, 3 years?!? I stick to my word though so don't ask me what i got him. He spoils me. I did need a new one though. Mine is like 5 years old, the first model that came out so its huge and heavy and only holds 20GB and was still in b&w, so really, I'm not complaining;)Anyways, the day was beautiful. We slept in (which in and of itself was beautiful), went to cascade springs for a picnic, stopped by Sundance on our way home, went out to dinner at Tucanos, a Brazillian restaurant here in Provo and then....went to bed. After all of the anxiety of it being closer and closer, I'm sad its over with! But, again, so excited for the coming years!!!
For those of you who are wondering, we don't have an exact date set yet BUT we will be sealed later this month in the Los Angeles Temple. It would be sooooOOOOOO wonderful if any of you could make it, but of course I will understand when/if you cannot.
About Kory, I forward his e-mails every week to those of you who are on "the list" so if you wish to be added to "the list", let me know. He is doing well but i know that he is a bit homesick right now. He's only been in the field for about 2 1/2 weeks so he is still getting used to the lifestyles and what not. If you have any free time, I know he would appreciate a letter. Dearelder.com makes it so easy.
What else, what else... I'm going to sign off for now, which ='s for me about a month or two. I will try and do better. Now that Chase is working like 60 hours a week, I will probably have more time to blog and read the Twilight series and workout (with my wii fit trainer :)).

Happy Anniversary!! Wow where in the heck did this year go. It sounds like you two little lovebirds had such a good day on your day. I would love love love to be at your sealing, but you know, Seth will be showing up anyday at the end of this month, soooo it doesn't look like it will happen, you know I would be there in a second. OH Honey, Thanks for the update. I loved everything about it. I am putting out the invitation to do a blog for me...ok? The invite has been out there for others (hello...kayola and steph) but no one has jumped on the opportunity. I am so proud of you and my wonderful son in law for your growth.
